South Central direct sheep

The South Central Direct Sheep sales report for the week ending Jan. 18, showed receipts of 400 slaughter meat goats, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas.

Trading at a standstill in the area this week. Available lambs were limited. There were no slaughter lambs. Slaughter ewes and replacement ewes were not tested. Slaughter meats goats were steady. Buyers and sellers took a wait-and-see attitude.
