Panhandle regional job fair set

Oklahoma

A unique opportunity for job seekers and employers is just around the corner. On March 5 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., employers in the Oklahoma Panhandle can market their business and connect with potential employees at the Oklahoma Panhandle Regional Job Fair at the Texas County Activity Center in Guymon, Okla.

According to Betty Viljoen, PREDCI's Economic Development Director, for those who desire to participate, there are truly a lot of benefits including immediate hiring opportunities. "We are asking participating businesses and employers to send their hiring decision makers to this event, stated Viljoen. Our goal is to help employers who are really serious about filling job openings find good, qualified employees."

Other benefits of the job fair include on-site private interview space, screening of eligible applicants, immediate hiring opportunities, a listing in PREDCI's "Employers Now Hiring" brochure and a link on the City of Guymon website.

"Potential employees don't want to miss this opportunity to personally meet hiring managers and explore career paths right here in the Oklahoma Panhandle," stated Betty Viljoen.

Co-sponsors for the job fair are the Panhandle Regional Economic Development Coalition, Inc., City of Guymon, and the Northwest Workforce Investment Board.

For a registration form or additional information, please call PREDCI at 580-338-8500 or Vicki Ayres-McCune at the Community Development office at 580-338-5838. Registration application is also available online at www.predci.com or www.guymonok.org. Booth registration deadline is Feb. 28.
