Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 1,050 head Jan. 16, compared to 2,675 head last week and 2,550 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady. Demand was moderate to good on all classes. Weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. The supply included 49% heifers and 23% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 9 head, 403 to 407 lbs., 117.00 to 122.00 (119.99); 6 head, 458 to 465 lbs., 118.00 to 121.00 (119.99); 506 to 534 lbs., 106.00 to 112.00 (108.88); 9 head, 600 to 605 lbs., 101.00 to 103.00 (101.88); 9 head, 655 to 683 lbs., 95.00 to 96.00 (95.43) fleshy; 8 head, 728 to 734 lbs., 95.50 to 96.00 (95.62). Medium and large frame 2, 5 head, 344 lbs., 119.00; 6 head, 378 to 393 lbs., 116.00 to 121.00 (117.62); 12 head, 454 to 471 lbs., 104.00 to 109.00 (106.65); 10 head, 530 to 545 lbs., 100.00 to 105.00 (103.03); 564 to 591 lbs., 98.50 to 102.00 (99.41); 5 head, 670 lbs., 94.50; 5 head, 730 lbs., 90.00.
