Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 2,675 head Jan. 10, compared to 3,204 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma city, Okla. Compared to last sale, the market was closed due to holidays. No recent test was available for price comparisons. Demand was moderate to good on all classes. Weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. The supply included 48% heifers and 23% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows and bulls had no recent test for a comparison but a steady undertone was noted. A total of 650 cows and bulls sold with 35% going to packers.
