FLIGHT TO LIQUIDITY?--A leading agricultural economist believes a drop in land values caused by rising farm input costs overtaking revenues could lead to a possible flight to cash liquidity, according to Dr. Dave Kohl, professor emeritus of agricultural and applied economics at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va. Kohl spoke at the recent the National Agricultural Bankers Conference, sponsored by the American Bankers Association, held at Milwaukee, Wis. (Journal photo by Larry Dreiling.)
