St. Joseph feeder pigs

The St. Joseph feeder pig auction. St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 40 head Jan. 29, compared to 175 head last week and 212 head last year, according to the USDA-Missouri Department of Agriculture Market News, St. Joseph, Mo.

Compared to last week, on a light test, feeder pigs sold steady on comparable weights. Prices paid per head on actual weights.

U.S. 1 to 2: lot 72 lbs., 22.50.

U.S. 2 to 3: lot 33 lbs., 7.00; lot 47 lbs., 10.00.
