Juniors parade Angus champs

Junior Angus enthusiasts let 214 females at the 2008 Southwestern Exposition & Livestock Shows' Junior Angus Heifer Show, Jan. 20 in Fort Worth, Texas. Matt Claeys, West Lafayette, Ind., evaluated the entries before selecting champions.

Emory Geye, Rising Star, Texas, claimed grand champion female honors. GEYE EQ's Delia G606 is an April 2006 daughter of DAJS All Star M243. She first won junior champion.

Kyle Jones, Bleiblerville, Texas, led the reserve grand champion female. High Meadows Foreverlady 771 is a April 2007 daughter of S A V 8180 Traveler 004. She first won junior calf champion.
