Informational meeting on farm truck regulation changes

A meeting to discuss farm truck regulations will be held Feb. 12, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Commercial Building, WaKeeney Fairgrounds, Hwy. 283.

This meeting will discuss Federal Regulations being enforced with farm trucks hauling grain to elevators and shipped out of state, CDL licenses, driver qualifications, safety requirements, US DOT numbers and markings, weights and scales, barter exchange, farm use tags and more.

The meeting will be presented by the Kansas Corporation Commission, Motor Carriers, Kansas Highway Patrol.

There is no charge and the meeting is sponsored by : Trego County Treasurer, Ness County Treasurer, Graham County Treasurer, K-State Research and Extension- Trego County.
