Dunlap auction sales reportThe Dunlap Livestock Auction, Dunlap, Iowa, reported receipts of 3,214 head Jan. 25, compared to 1,258 head last week, according to the Iowa Department of Agriculture to USDA Market News, Des Moines, Iowa. This was a special Western Iowa Preconditioned feeder calf sale. The trend compared to last week is $1 to $4 higher on the lighter steer calves and $2 to $5 higher on the heavier steer calves, $2 to $4 lower on the lighter heifer calves and $3 to $4 higher on the heavier heifer calves. The receipts included 57% steers and 43% heifers, with 82% over 600 pounds.
