Apache livestock sales reportStockman's Livestock Inc., Apache, Okla., Jan. 26, showed 2,882 head, compared to 4,577 head last week and 3,343 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were $2 to $3 higher. Steer and heifer calves were steady with light test. Weigh-ups were average to full. Demand for all classes of cattle was moderate to good. The supply included 60% steers, 31% heifers, 4% bulls and 78% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows and bulls were not reported.
