Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 475 head Jan. 23, compared to 1,385 head last week and 897 head last year according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady, not enough feeder heifers to compare. Quality and weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. Demand was moderate to good on all classes. The supply included 31% heifers and 26% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 5 head, 462 lbs., 111.00; 19 head, 500 to 526 lbs., 105.00 to 110.50 (107.39); 5 head, 558 lbs., 102.50; 6 head, 702 lbs., 95.50. Medium and large frame 2, 8 head, 355 to 366 lbs., 120.00 to 126.00 (123.79); 13 head, 402 to 436 lbs., 110.00 to 111.00 (110.67); 18 head, 558 to 588 lbs., 98.50 to 102.00 (99.33); 601 to 638 lbs., 95.00 to 99.50 (97.96); 9 head, 657 to 673 lbs., 93.00 to 95.00 (94.55); 6 head, 696 lbs., 93.00 fleshy; 9 head, 705 to 721 lbs., 89.00 to 93.00 (91.46). Feeder bulls: Medium and large frame 1, 13 head, 508 to 515 lbs., 105.00 to 107.50 (106.61); 5 head, 614 lbs., 95.00 fleshy. Medium and large frame 2, 8 head, 552 to 565 lbs., 95.00 to 99.00 (96.02). Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 6 head, 400 to 415 lbs., 104.00 to 110.00 (106.94); 19 head, 500 to 547 lbs., 94.50 to 98.50 (95.88).
