HERBICIDES--Dow AgroSciences, Indianapolis, Ind.

HERBICIDES--Dow AgroSciences, Indianapolis, Ind., introduces new SURESTART, SONIC and DURANGO DMA herbicides for weed control in herbicide-tolerant corn or soybean production systems. SURESTART and SONIC are designed to help protect herbicide-tolerant corn and soybeans, and are ideal partners with the company's new glyphosate, DURANGO DMA. SURESTART herbicide is a soil-applied herbicide designed for the way growers prefer to control weeds in Roundup Ready corn. SURESTART extends the post glyphosate application window and can be applied from preplant to 11-inch-tall corn. Three modes of action provide foundation control of ALS-, glyphosate- and triazine-resistant biotypes. SONIC herbicide uses two unique modes of action to deliver broad-spectrum control of tough broadleaf weeds, including glyphosate-resistant species, in Roundup Ready soybeans. DURANGO DMA herbicide is the latest innovation in glyphosate technology, containing a new, third-generation glyphosate salt. For more information, call a local crop protection retailer, or visit www.SureStart.com, www.SonicHerbicide.com, or www.DurangoDMAHerbicide.com.
