Woodward livestock sales report

The Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 7,705 head Feb. 15, compared to 5,828 head last week and 3,027 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla.

Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $1 lower. Stocker steers were steady, steer calves steady in a limited test. Heifer calves were steady to $1 lower. Demand was good for all classes. Fill was average to full. The supply included 62% steers, 36% heifers with 88% over 600 pounds.
