Wil-Rich to market Redball strip-till equipment line

Redball, LLC, Benson, Minn., and Wil-Rich, LLC, Wahpeton, N.D., have announced that Wil-Rich will become the exclusive marketer of Redball's line of strip-till equipment.

The Redball strip-till line will complement the broad range of tillage equipment from Wil-Rich, which includes field cultivators, rippers, chisel plows, disk cultivators and harrows, as well as toolbars and air seeding and air cart equipment. Under terms of the agreement, Wil-Rich will be the exclusive marketer of Redball strip-till equipment. Redball will continue as manufacturer.

"Wil-Rich's strength in the tillage market will broaden distribution of our strip-till line and give it more prominence in the marketplace," said Steve Claussen, president of Redball, LLC. "This also will allow Redball to focus efforts on the new Redball self-propelled sprayer, as well as our high-clearance trailer sprayers."

"Strip-till has a bright future as farmers seek to reduce the amount of tillage they perform, both to save costs and improve their stewardship of the environment," says Gordon Nyquist, Wil-Rich sales manager. "Redball is the premier line of strip-till equipment in the U.S. It matches the Wil-Rich commitment to quality."

Redball strip-till units will be available on Redball toolbars up to 30 feet wide, and on Wil-Rich Houck toolbars up to 60 feet wide. Wil-Rich also markets commodity air carts, which enable efficient application of fertilizers through strip-till row units.
