South Central direct sheep

The South Central Direct Sheep sales report for the week ending Feb. 15, showed receipts of 900 slaughter meat goats, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas.

Compared to last week, feeder lambs were at a standstill. There were no slaughter lambs or ewes and replacement ewes were not tested. There are no recent comparison on slaughter meat goats.

Slaughter meat goats: Kids, Texas, 900 head, Selection 1 to 2, 50 to 60 lbs., 115.00 to 118.00.
