Denison feeder cattle saleThe Denison Feeder Cattle Auction, Denison, Iowa, reported receipts of 2,963 head Feb. 14, compared to 2,561 head last year, according to the Iowa Department of Agriculture-USDA market s, Des Moines, Iowa. This was a special feeder cattle sale. Demand was good. There were no comparisons as last week's sale was not reported. The cattle were in light to medium flesh with weighing conditions in the buyers' favor. Receipts included 69% feeder cattle over 600 pounds, 38% feeder heifers and 62% feeder steers.
