Apache cattle sales reportStockman's Livestock Inc., Apache, Okla, reported receipts of 4,260 head Feb. 15, compared to 4,711 head last week and 2,604 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $1 higher, up to $3 on the 750-pound steers. Steer and heifer calves were steady. Weigh-ups were average to full. Demand for all classes of cattle was moderate to good. The supply included 60% steers, 37% heifers, 4% bulls and 73% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady. A total of 291 cows and bulls sold.
