Watertown livestock sales

The South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, SD., reported receipts of 1,700 head Feb. 13, compared to 1,900 head last week and 1,400 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Compared to last week, feeder steers and feeder heifers sold $1 to $3 higher. Feeder steers made up 73% of the run, feeder heifers 27%, with 80% over 600 pounds.
