Tulsa livestock sales reportThe Tulsa Stockyards, Tulsa, Okla., reported receipts of 1,345 head Feb. 11, compared to 1,438 head last week's ad 2,357 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, stocker steers were steady, feeder steers were $2 to $4 higher with most advance on 600- to 700-pounds. Stocker heifers were $3 to $5 higher, feeder heifers were $2 to $4 higher. Quality was average to very attractive, good demand on better cattle. Weigh-ups were average, few full, along with good attendance of buyers. Receipts included 56% steers, 33% heifers, 11% bulls, with 32% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows and bulls were $3 higher. Very good demand on high dressing packer cows. A total of 184 cows and bulls sold with 60% going to packers.
