In other agribusiness news....Diamond V Mills, Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will build a new $12 million manufacturing facility in Cedar Rapids. Construction of the 28,000-square-foot facility will begin in the summer of 2008 and it will be operational in 2009. On January 1, 2008, Kuhn's two U.S. companies, Kuhn Farm Machinery, Inc., (the North American marketing and distribution arm of Kuhn Group) and Kuhn Knight, Inc., (the manufacturing company) merged to create Kuhn North America, Inc. This new chapter in Kuhn's history of growth in North America concludes the five-year integration process planned for Kuhn Knight, Inc., following the purchase of the company by Kuhn Group in December 2002. Asoyia, Iowa City, Iowa, a leader in specialty soybean soybean production and soybean oil marketing, announced the new hire of Beth Fulmer-Boyer as vice president of sales. Frontier Farm Credit, Manhattan, Kan., has hired Greg Legleiter as a financial services officer. His duties include retaining, marketing and servicing mortgage and commercial loans as part of the Manhattan lending team. Allflex USA, Inc., Dallas, Texas, has promoted Donna James to Commercial Services Manager, responsible for marketing communications, customer service and sales support functions for North America. The company also promoted Melissa Delatorre to Customer Service Supervisor, overseeing daily customer service responsibilities as well as support specific regional sales efforts. Missouri Tractor Parts, Sikeston, Mo., announced Greg Davis was promoted to store manager and Brad Eftink was promoted to assistant store manager. 2/11/08 Date: 2/15/08
