Aberdeen livestock sales reportThe Hub City Livestock Auction, Aberdeen, S.D., reported receipts of 5,287 head Feb. 13, compared to 5,856 head last week and 5,289 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to last week, feeder steers sold $1 to $3 higher. Heifers sold $3 to $4 higher. Demand was good, with many offerings sold in load lots. Steers comprised 51% of the run, heifers 49%, with 93% over 600 pounds.
