Watertown livestock salesThe South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipts of 1,900 head Feb. 6, compared to 1,700 head last week and 850 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to last week, feeder steers sold steady to $1 higher, heifers sold steady to weak. Demand and buyer attendance was good. Feeder steers comprised 58% of the run, heifers 42%, with 86% weighed over 600 pounds.
