CCA announces show resultsColorado Colorado Cattlemen's Association held its annual Producer Show and Sale at the National Western Stock Show Livestock Auction Arena Jan. 23. Held in conjunction with the 102nd anniversary of the National Western Stock Show, the CCA producer show included three pens of open heifers owned by CCA members. This was followed by the NWSS Commercial Sale and CCA Producer Sale. Congratulations to the winners of the show--Grand Champion went to Glenn Benjamin, Simla, Colo., with his pen of Angus Cross heifers; and Reserve Champion went to Carnahan Ranches, Inc., Kiowa, Colo., with their Maine-Anjou x Angus heifers. Following the sale, Pfizer Animal Health sponsored the Stockmen's Night Barbeque. The show, sale, and barbecue were all a tremendous success and CCA would like to thank everyone involved in making this event possible. CCA would like to thank National Western Stock Show and all participating producers, bidders, and buyers for turning out again this year. 2/11/08 Date: 2/5/08
