Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 975 head Jan. 30, compared to 670 head last week and 673 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were $2 to $4 higher. No prices to compare to from last week on feeder heifers. Flesh conditions were medium. Weigh-ups were average. Demand was moderate to good on all classes. The supply included 40% heifers and 47% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 6 head, 420 to 425 lbs., 124.50 to 125.00 (124.83); 17 head, 466 to 497 lbs., 115.00 to 120.00 (118.99); 19 head, 503 to 524 lbs., 116.50 to 120.50 (117.92); 552 to 598 lbs., 105.00 to 118.00 (114.96); 603 to 640 lbs., 104.00 to 108.75 (106.60); 5 head, 685 to 699 lbs., 100.50 to 102.00 (101.70); 717 to 735 lbs., 97.50 to 100.25 (99.08); 14 head, 760 to 785 lbs., 96.50 to 98.50 (97.76). Medium and large frame 2, 12 head, 438 lbs., 110.00; 9 head, 554 to 593 lbs., 99.00 to 103.50 (101.42); 7 head, 688 lbs., 97.00; 13 head, 775 to 779 lbs., 92.50 to 95.50 (95.04).
