Juniors from York, Neb., exhibit purebred Shorthorn champions

The 2008 North American International Livestock Exposition brought juniors from all across the states together to compete in the Junior Purebred Shorthorn Show. Judge Donnie Robertson of Yukon, Okla., evaluated the 190 entries Nov. 16.

Atlanda Maronde of York, Neb., claimed the Grand Champion Female honors with SULL MIRIAH'S ROSE ET, the Junior Champion Division Female. The March 2, 2007 born female was sired by CF SOLUTION X and was also the Reserve Female at the 2008 Junior National Show earlier this year.

The May 8, 2007 heifer owned by Cassie Hoblyn also of York, Neb., claimed Reserve honors with SULL SOLUTION'S PRIDE ET. She is sired by CF SOLUTION X, was the Intermediate Division Champion and was also the Champion Female during the 2008 Junior National Show earlier this year.

Capturing the title in the Bred & Owned show was AS LADY VIDALIA sired by 4D DOUBLE VISION 7/8. The April 12, 2007 female was raised and shown by Allison Agle of South Vienna, Ohio.
