Farm Bill Informational Meeting Dec. 17 in Hays

K-State Research and Extension in cooperation with the Ellis County Farm Service Agency will host an informational meeting on the 2008 farm bill to be held on Dec. 17 starting at 8 a.m., and concluding by or before noon at the Hays Agriculture Research Center Auditorium, 1232 240th Ave.

Discussion of the 2008 farm bill provisions, and the new ACRE and SURE programs will take place by Art Barnaby, KSU Farm Mgt. specialist and Greg Kerr, Director of the Ellis County FSA.

No pre-registration required, all interested people are invited to attend this free informational farm bill program. If needing further information contact either the Ellis County FSA office at 785-628-3081 or the Extension Office at 785-628-9430.
