Gov. Rounds appoints Blair to state Brand Board

PIERRE, S.D. (AP)--Gov. Mike Rounds says he has appointed Wanda Blair of Vale to the State Brand Board.

According to a release from Rounds, Blair fills a vacant position that was held by Lyndell Petersen, who resigned.

Rounds says Blair and her husband and family have a ranch near Vale, where they raise cattle and sell bulls throughout the central United States.

Blair also is vice president of the South Dakota Farm Bureau.
