Clovis cattle auction report

The Clovis Livestock Auction Co., Clovis, N.M., reported estimated receipts of 1,000 head Dec. 17, according to the USDA-New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M.

Compared to last week, feeder steers were $4 higher and heifers were steady to $1 higher.

Steers: Medium and large frame 1, 200 to 300 lbs., 123.00 to 125.00; package 340 lbs., 133.50; 400 to 500 lbs., 104.00 to 109.50; 500 to 600 lbs., 94.00 to 98.00; 600 to 700 lbs., calves 84.50 to 86.50; 700 to 800 lbs., 80.00 to 82.50; package 818 lbs., 80.00. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 350 to 400 lbs., 117.00 to 127.00; package 415 lbs., 98.00; lot 484 lbs., weaned 104.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 88.00 to 94.00; 600 to 700 lbs., 80.50 to 82.50; 700 to 800 lbs., 85.25 to 88.00; package 825 lbs., 83.00. Medium and large frame 2, 400 to 500 lbs., 89.25 to 91.50, weaned 96.50 to 108.00; package 515 lbs., 89.00; package 627 lbs., 82.50.
