Officials back wind farm for northeastern ColoradoSTERLING, Colo. (AP)--Logan County commissioners have backed the construction of a wind farm with more than 60 wind turbines. The wind farm would be built by Colorado Highlands Winds near the town of Fleming in northeastern Colorado. A development agreement approved by the commissioners on Nov. 25 waives setback requirements for the turbines. That will allow the company to place the turbines in the best places to catch the wind. Colorado Highlands Winds plans to install up to 67 turbines on the site. 12/15/08 Date: 12/10/08 Advertisement
