Nebraska Grain Sorghum Board to meet

The Nebraska Grain Sorghum Board has scheduled their next public meeting on Dec. 15 at the Holiday Inn, 110 South Second Avenue, Kearney, Neb. The meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Items on the agenda will include reports of board activities, research and market development. A copy of the agenda will be available one week prior to the meeting by contacting the office of the Grain Sorghum Board at 402-471-4276 or by e-mailing sorghum.board@nebraska.gov.

The Nebraska Grain Sorghum Board administers the one cent per hundredweight assessment on grain sorghum marketed in Nebraska. Funds are invested in programs of international and domestic market development, research, producer and consumer education, and policy development.
