Miss Rodeo Montana to vie for national crown

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP)--The Miss Rodeo America Pageant in Las Vegas opens on Nov. 29, with Audrey Sholty of Missoula representing Montana.

Sholty recently returned from Japan, where her activities included promoting Montana tourism and beef.

The national pageant runs through Dec. 6. Categories in which contestants are judged include appearance, personality and horsemanship.

The next Miss Rodeo Montana will be crowned in January at the Montana ProRodeo Circuit Finals in Great Falls.
