Joplin livestock sales reportThe Joplin Regional Stockyards, Joplin, Mo., reported receipts of 3,300 head July 28, compared to 4,312 head last week and 2,787 head last year, according to the Missouri Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News Service, Jefferson City, Mo. Compared to last week, steers steady, heifers under 650 pounds were steady, over 650 pounds were steady to $2 lower. Demand and supply were moderate. The feeder supply included 50% steers, 36% heifers, 13% bulls, with 60% over 600 pounds.
