Gelbvieh Tour slated for south central NebraskaNebraska The Gelbvieh Association In Nebraska will host the annual state Gelbvieh tour in south central Nebraska Aug. 23. This year's tour will be focused on Commercial Cattle Producers and visit several Gelbvieh operations. The tour will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m., at Lemke Cattle Co., Lawrence, Neb. Also included at the first stop will be MLM Gelbvieh and Goldrush Genetics with a review from the American Gelbvieh Association. The second tour location will be at Voss Farms, Bruning, Neb. Lunch will be provided at the stop and also include Tegtmeier Cattle Co., Kleinschmidt Farms, M&P Gelbvieh, and Bruning Farms. Speaking at noon will be Igenity. The tour will finish at 3:30 p.m., at Rippe Gelbvieh, Hubbell, Neb., including a display from Bauer Gelbvieh. Additionally listen to speaker and tour MC, Twig Marston, UNL Northeast Research and Extension Director/Beef Specialist. The Gelbvieh Association In Nebraska is a non-profit state organization affiliate of the American Gelbvieh Association. GAIN was formed in support of Nebraska Gelbvieh and Balancer producers, a liaison between the AGA and for the promotion of the Gelbvieh breed.
