Clovis livestock sales reportThe Clovis Livestock Auction, Clovis, N.M., reported estimated receipts of 1,000 head July 30, according to the USDA-New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were $3 to $4 higher except, 600 to 700 pound heifers were $1 higher. Steers: Medium and large frame 1, packages 332 lb. weaned 146.00; individual 400 lbs., 127.00; package 411 lb. weaned 146.00; package 498 lbs., 122.000; package 483 lb. weaned 136.00; few 607 to 635 lbs., 117.00 to 118.00; load 638 lb. calves 109.50. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, package 273 lbs., 138.00; lot 316 lbs., 141.00; package 415 lbs., 140.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 105.00 to 111.00; package 876 lbs., 100.00. Medium and large frame 2, package 462 to 472 lbs., 130.00 to 130.50; individual 515 lbs., 115.00; package 635 lbs., 116.50; package 736 lbs., 109.00; package 815 lbs., 100.00.
