Clovis cattle sales report

The Clovis Livestock Auction Co., Clovis, N.M., reported estimated receipts of 2,000 head Aug. 6, according to the USDA-New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M.

Compared to last month, Holstein steers 300 to 400 pounds were $2 higher, 400 to 500 pounds were $7 higher.

Holstein steers: Large frame 3, 200 to 300 lbs., 68.00 to 76.00; 300 to 400 lbs., 78.00 to 80.00; 450 to 500 lbs., 83.75 to 84.00.
