AJSA Western Regional Classic winners announcedAmerican Junior Simmental Association members from 4 states Converged on the Colorado State Fairgrounds in Pueblo, Colo., for the 2008 Western Regional Classic on June 13 to 15. Fifteen junior members with 27 head of cattle participated in several activities including the Sire Summary Quiz, Livestock Judging, Public Speaking, Simmental Cattle Show, Sales Talk, and Showmanship. The Classic is designed to provide members with opportunities in leadership, education, and networking--elements essential to the success of the beef industry. The placings for the Western Regional Classic are as follows:
