AJSA North Central Regional Classic winners announced

American Junior Simmental Association members from 7 states converged on the Clay County Fairgrounds in Spencer, Iowa for the 2008 North Central Regional Classic on June 17 to 21.

Ninety-seven junior members with 126 head of cattle participated in several activities including the Cattlemen's Quiz, Livestock Judging, Public Speaking, Simmental Cattle Show, Sales Talk, and Showmanship. The Classic is designed to provide members with opportunities in leadership, education, and networking--elements essential to the success of the beef industry.

The North Central Regional Classic coordinators dedicated this event to Dusty Volz. Dusty passed away in December and was an active supporter of AJSA.

The placings for the North Central Regional Classic are as follows:

Junior Division
