Pratt 3 p.m.cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., Aug. 21, reported estimated receipts of 4,300 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers at 650 to 950 pounds were weak to $2 lower, feeder heifers at 650 to 950 pounds were steady, and other grades were weak to $2 lower. Steers and heifers under 650 pounds were not tested as of 3 p.m.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 18 head, 677 lbs., 119.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 112.75 to 114.00, 850 to 900 lbs., 110.60 to 113.85; 900 to 950 lbs., 108.00 to 110.10.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 650 to 700 lbs., 110.25 to 110.85; 700 to 750 lbs., 109.75 to 110.75; 750 to 800 lbs., 108.00 to 109.85; 800 to 850 lbs., 107.60 to 108.00, 850 to 900 lbs., 105.50 to 106.35; 900 to 950 lbs., 102.50 to 104.25.
