Nebraska Soybean Board September meeting set

The Nebraska Soybean Board will meet Sept. 3, at the New World Inn, Columbus, Neb. The meeting will convene at 8 a.m., and conclude at 4 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to evaluate and select projects and finalize the budget for 2008-2009.

A complete agenda for the public meeting is available for inspection from the Nebraska Soybean Office, 3815 Touzalin Avenue, Suite 101, Lincoln, NE 68507, 402-441-3240 or 800-852-2326.

The elected nine-member Nebraska Soybean Board is responsible for administering the state's share of the one-half of 1 percent national check-off on soybeans. The Nebraska check-off funds are invested in research, marketing and education projects.
