Clovis livestock sales report

The Clovis Livestock Auction Co., Clovis, N.M., reported estimated receipts of 1,200 head Aug. 19, according to the USDA-New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M.

Compared to last week, feeder steers under 600 pounds were $6 to $7 lower, over 600 pounds were $1 to $2 lower. Heifers were $1 to $2 lower.

Steers: Medium and large frame 1, 400 to 500 lbs., 116.00 to 122.00; lot 428 lbs., weaned 127.50; 500 to 600 lbs., 110.00 to 113.00; package 610 lbs., 108.00. Medium and large frame 1 to 2: 200 to 300 lbs., 131.00 to 141.00, weaned 148.00 to 163.00; 300 to 400 lbs., 131.00 to 140.00; lot 351 lbs., weaned 146.00; package 441 lbs., 120.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 105.00 to 115.00; package 691 lb. calves 97.50; 700 to 800 lbs., 104.00 to 109.50; package 811 lbs., 101.00. Medium and large frame 2, 200 to 300 lbs., weaned 142.00 to 163.00; package 376 lbs., weaned 129.50; 400 to 500 lbs., 128.00 to 130.00; package 610 lbs., 107.50; lot 705 lbs., 108.75; package 830 lbs., 97.50.

Heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 400 to 500 lbs., 101.00 to 106.50; 500 to 600 lbs., 102.00 to 106.50; package 617 lbs., 101.00; packages 677 to 690 lb. calves 87.50 to 95.00.
