Beef Tailgate Showdown begins

Hello Husker fans. Do you host the greatest tailgate showcasing the very best beef? If so, the Nebraska Beef Council wants you to enter the Beef Tailgate Showdown. Each week of a Nebraska home game, three tailgates will be judged to determine who has the best beef tailgating recipe. A weekly winner will be chosen and at the Nebraska versus Colorado game the winners will compete in the Final Showdown to win a trip for two to the Husker bowl game.

Complete contest rules and details can be found at www.nebeef.org. The contest begins Aug. 1 and entries will be accepted through Nov. 3. Recipes and tailgates will be judged on taste, originality, presentation, food safety, tailgate theme and atmosphere. Contact the Nebraska Beef Council at 800-421-5326 for more information.
