South Central direct sheep

The South Central Direct Sheep sales report for the week ending Aug. 8, reported receipts of 500 head, according to the USDA-Wyoming Department of Agriculture Market News, Torrington, Wyo.

Compared to last week, feeder lambs were steady in light test. There were no slaughter lambs or ewes, replacement ewes or slaughter meat goats. Trading and demand were moderate in clean-up type trade. Most lambs have been marketed.

Feeder lambs: Texas, 500 head, Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 65 to 90 lbs., 98.00 to 102.00.
