County crop tours, field days begin in Texas

The months of August and September are filling up with county crop tours and industry field days throughout the Texas cotton patch, according to the Plains Cotton Growers, Inc. Growers interested in attending any of these field days should contact the appropriate Texas AgriLife Extension office to ask for details. And, for more information about the industry field days listed, contact a local sales representative or dealer.

--Aug. 20, Dawson Co. Crop Tour;

--Aug. 25, Carson/Gray Co. Crop Tour;

--Aug. 26, Bailey Co. Tour;

--Aug. 27, Lubbock Co. Crop Tour;

--Sept. 2, Gaines Co. Crop Tour;

--Sept. 3, Castro Co. Ag Tour;

--Sept. 4, Moore/Carson Co. Crop Tour;

--Sept. 9, Yoakum Co. Crop Tour;

--Sept. 10, West Texas Agricultural Chemicals Institute Conference, Reese Technology Center, Lubbock;

--Sept. 24, Monsanto/Delta and Pine Land Producer Field Day.
