Clovis livestock sales report

The Clovis Livestock Auction Co., Clovis, N.M., reported estimated receipts of 2,100 head Aug. 13, according to the USDA-New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M.

Compared to last week, feeder steers under 600 pounds was $3 to $6 higher, over 600 pounds was $1 to $3 higher. Heifers were steady to $1 lower.

Steers: Medium and large frame 1, 400 to 500 lbs., 126.00 to 133.00; package 501 lbs., 123.00; 600 to 650 lbs., 109.00 to 114.00; 700 to 800 lbs., 106.50 to 112.50. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, package 188 lbs., 162.00; 250 to 300 lbs., 152.00 to 153.00; lot 388 lbs., 139.00; 450 to 500 lbs., 122.00 to 123.50; 600 to 650 lbs., 112.00 to 116.50; lot 758 lbs., 109.00. Medium and large frame 2, package 287 lbs., weaned 142.00; package 343 lbs., weaned 126.50; lot 473 lbs., 117.00; package 557 lbs., 116.00; 600 to 650 lbs., 109.50 to 112.25.

Heifers: Medium and large frame 1, package 243 lbs., 128.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 101.00 to 108.50; packages 630 to 690 lbs., 100.00 to 106.00; 700 to 800 lbs., 100.50 to 103.00; package 1028 lbs., 80.00. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 250 to 300 lbs., 116.00 to 122.00; 350 to 400 lbs., 111.50, weaned 111.50 to 116.50; 450 to 500 lbs., 110.50 to 113.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 100.50 to 107.00; 600 to 700 lbs., 102.50 to 107.00. Medium and large frame 2, 200 to 300 lbs., weaned 124.00; packages 417 to 476 lbs., 100.00 to 104.50; 500 to 550 lbs., 106.50 to 108.00; lot 643 lbs., 104.50.
