Therapeutic horseback riding center holding benefit

Crossroads Center, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities through therapeutic horseback riding, is sponsoring a benefit Texas Hold' Em Poker Tournament Aug. 16. First through fourth place winners will receive cash prizes, with the first place winner receiving $500. Additional door prizes will also be awarded.

Registration begins at 4 p.m., and play begins at 5 p.m., and a "Second Chance" tournament begins at approximately 7 p.m., at the Liberal Elks Lodge, 2010 South Holly.

Tickets are a $25 donation, with the Second Chance Buy-In costing $15. Tickets are available at the door or at: C & R Automotive, 1165 Pancake; Community Bank, 2320 N. Kansas; Hay Rice and Associates, 21 Plaza Drive--all in Liberal.
