Texoma CattleWomen to award scholarships

Texoma CattleWomen will award four $500 scholarships to eligible high school seniors this May, in memory of one of its charter members, Pat Grote. Deadline is April 30.

All graduating seniors who will be planning a career in an agricultural, and/or food science related field of study may apply for scholarship. Students who attend private schools or are home schooled may also apply. A background in beef related projects and/or youth leadership activities related to the agricultural industry and/or food science technology is a priority.

Applications received after the deadline and/or incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications may be obtained from Texoma CattleWomen, president, Trudy Lucas at lucasranch@aol.com or by calling 903-476-5565.
