Woodward livestock auction reportThe Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 5,626 head April 18, compared to 3,012 head last week and 5,400 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were $1 to $2.50 higher. Stocker and steer calves were steady. Heifer calves were steady. Demand was good for feeders, very good for stockers and weaned steer calves. Fill was average, few full. The supply included 68% steers, 29% heifers with 78% over 600 pounds.
