Watertown feeder cattle saleThe South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipts of 1,630 head April 23, compared to 585 head last week and 1,300 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Compared to last week, feeder steers were $3 to $5 higher. Feeder heifers were $2 to $4 higher. Feeder steers made up 74% of the sale, feeder heifers 26%, with 88% over 600 pounds.
