St. Joseph feeder pigs

The St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 156 head April 22, compared to 204 head last week and 206 head last year, according to the USDA-Missouri Department of Agriculture Market News, St. Joseph, Mo.

Compared to last week, feeder pigs weighing 45 to 85 pounds sold $5 to $12 higher on a nice offering. Prices paid per head on actual weights.

U.S. 1 to 2: package 46 lbs., 27.00; package 56 lbs., 37.00; package 66 lbs., 34.00; lot 72 lbs., 39.00; package 75 lbs., 78.00 good quality show pigs; package 83 lbs., 39.00; lot 92 lbs., 38.00; package 126 lbs., 47.00.
