Pratt 3 p.m. cattle salesThe Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., April 24, reported estimated receipts of 4,000 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, feeder steers at 600 to 1000 pounds were steady to $7 higher on early sales. Heifers at 600 to 950 pounds were $2 to $7 higher. Steers and heifers at 300 to 600 pounds were not established as of 3 p.m. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 11 head, 636 lbs., 109.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 110.00 to 114.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 110.75 to 112.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 107.85 to 111.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 101.85 to 105.85; 850 to 900 lbs., 98.50 to 102.25; 900 to 950 lbs., 95.75 to 99.75; 950 to 1000 lbs., 96.25 to 97.50.
